Yesterday was hard. 4000 ft climb over 40 miles. Today was worse. 4000 ft over 30 milles -- plus, 30 mph headwind. Averaged 6 mph!

Meet & Greet in San Diego
The group is gathering to walk over to the Wonderland Ocean Pub for our first dinner together. We learned that we have 43 riders.

Bubba giving instructions to the group, and then invited us to introduce ourselves. The average age is 60, and there are 3 riders who are 75! The thing that I found most interesting, was that the majority of the riders are engineers, doctors, or nurses. I often think that I should have been an engineer. -- At least I married a nurse!

Bike is off to San Diego!
At the FedEx office. Bike should get to San Diego on Thursday, the same day as me. I am using a service called ShipBike.com. Their FedEx shipping rates are about half of the retail rate.
